Origin of coffee: Peru, Brazil, Vietnam

A traditional blend for delicious Italian espresso. Her body contains a slight acidity of Central American Arabica coffee with chocolate hazelnut tones. The mixture is complemented by only a small part of the high-quality Robusta, which enriches the body and cream of this mixture.

We carefully select the best Arabica and Robusta coffees from around the world, which are roasted in the traditional way, and thanks to more than 110 years of experience with roasting, you can treat yourself to coffee of balanced taste.

Traditional roasting

We roast coffee using the traditional slow 18-minute roasting. Subsequent cooling is performed with fresh air only.

The Cagliari family boasts more than a century of tradition in the field. Now Dr. Dante Cagliari considered one of the best coffee experts in Italy.

Coffee roasting tradition since 1909

The history dates back to 1875, when Ambrogio Cagliari traveled to Brazil. There he fell in love with coffee and its processing. He became a recognized expert in coffee roasting and represented Brazilian coffee in Europe for the next 30 years. He founded his first roastery in Bordeaux.

In 1909, after the birth of his son Francesco, Ambrogio moved the roastery to his native Modena. Here he was mainly engaged in roasting and the coffee trade, which Dante's father Francesco Cagliari continued in 1934.

Today, Caffé L‘Antico is run by dott. Dante Cagliari with his daughter Gabriella.

In addition to the types of coffee that L’Antico uses in its excellent blends, select coffee from Guatemala is also specially used in this edition. It is rightly considered one of the best in the world. All the more, L’Antico 110 Anniversary is more exceptional and delicious.

Thanks to the long-term cooperation of the roastery with our company KP Trading Brno, a special can design was created exclusively for the Czech market.
